Internship Guest Support Specialist

During your internship, you will help the customers to the best of your ability and make sure that they feel comfortable and at home.

Goal of the position:

The Mission of Guest Support is to make the end to end experience of a University Housing Guest as enjoyable, memorable and hassle free as possible. We would like our guests to feel a sense of belonging, home, and happiness. We like to feel connected with our guests and make them feel at home away from home. You will provide excellent communication with our guests through face to face, UH App, email, phone and solve enquiries, complaints, questions as quickly as possible using all UH resources as required.

The aim is to deliver the best service in our field by delivering constant excellence. We should always ‘be there’ when we are needed and seen as always reliable by everyone that we interact with potential guests, guests, owners and those that we work with, trying always to ‘make their day’ in any way that we can.

As an intern, you’re part of the Guest Support team. During the internship, you will work on creating your own learning plan and are given the opportunity to work on a personal project. We’re currently working on introducing our new Property Management System and would love to make the implementation a success together with you. Together with the entire team, you’re expected to keep on the lookout for new opportunities to do the work more efficiently, as well as finding new ways to bring a smile to the faces of our guests.

  • Answer questions from guests and solve any inquiry they might have.
  • Help improve the support strategy.
  • You are proactive and a team player.
  • You have a bold attitude and are not afraid of taking responsibility.

Minimum experience, education & skill requirements:

  • Studying Business management, communication or a related field at bachelors or masters level.
  • Full-time, 40hours for a period of at least 5 months.
  • Full Professional Proficiency in English and Dutch.
  • Somewhat experienced in hospitality or customer care.
  • You are hospitable and guest-oriented.
  • You are communicative.
  • You are innovative.
